For the protection of stone, concrete, tiles, bricks and all masonry surfaces from environmental and man made contamination and soiling without changing the surface appearance.
Cyndan Barrier Brilliance is a solvent modified silane siloxane blend which causes a chemical reaction in the capillaries of the substrate and becomes an integral part of the substrate it is protecting. Cyndan* Barrier Brilliance is not a surface or barrier coating. Surfaces would need to erode to reduce the effectiveness of Cyndan Barrier Brilliance. Cleaning procedures will not reduce the product's effectiveness. Cyndan Barrier Brilliance allows the substrate to breathe thus allowing gases and water vapour to escape our of the substrate. This is particularly beneficial when treating material such as sandstone or similar stone surfaces. The treatment has a wide pH tolerance and provides an effective shield against the ingress of foodstuffs and common waste materials into the substrate whilst not affecting the surfaces non-slip characteristics. Chewing gum has low adherence to Cyndan Barrier Brilliance treated surfaces. There is a slight change in the appearance of the treated surface thus hiding any blemishes or stains, which cannot be removed. |

Cyndan Fabric Fire Proofing is a water based solution for the treatment of fabric. It is intended for in-situ treatment of curtains, carpets and soft upholstery materials. Natural fabrics and mixtures of natural and synthetic fibres can usually be satisfactory treated.
Tests have been carried out on selected fabrics, to AS 1530.2-1973, Earyl Fire Hazard properties of Materials and AS 1530.3.182, Test for Flammability of Materials. Very low indices for both standards have been acheived for materials composed of cotton, wool, nylon, and rayon. These certificates are available upon request. |

Single component timber fire retardant treatment.
This product when dry is impervious to water and will not discolour the timber. It has excellent resistance to dirt pick up. A piece of Radiata Pine treated with Cyndans Firetard 120 passed Australian and New Zealand standard AS/NZS 3837 for performance specification for the definition of a Fire Retardant as specified in clause 1.5.6 of the Australian Standard 3959, construction of buildings in bushfire prone areas 1999. |

It has been found that some paints will not easily adhere to surfaces treated with Cyndan* Stone Sentry, which suggests some potential benefit in an anti-graffiti role; this will require specific site testing. |
